Brentwood School's first fireworks night is Saturday 7 November, show at 6.15pm, tickets £6 to £50. Old Brentwoods Club has Friday 6 November, prices TBC.

Two fireworks displays in Brentwood borough have confirmed 2026 dates. Brentwood School holds its first Fireworks Night on Saturday 7 November, doors 4.45pm and fireworks at 6.15pm, with tickets from £6 to £50. Old Brentwoods Club on Ashwells Road has a Fireworks Display on Friday 6 November, 5pm to 11.30pm, with prices still to come.

Updated 5 October: Brentwood School’s Fireworks Night on 7 November is now on sale, with a 6.15pm display time and ticket prices. Old Brentwoods Club still has no prices.

Bonfire Night itself falls on Thursday 5 November in 2026, so both displays are on the two nights after it.

Brentwood School, Saturday 7 November

Event Brentwood, the school’s events arm, is running “our first Fireworks Night” in the school grounds off Ingrave Road (CM15 8AS). Doors open at 4.45pm, the fireworks start at 6.15pm and the doors close at 8.30pm. The school promises fairground activities, food from A&Co catering (bakery and hot drinks, sourdough pizza, barbecue) and hot and cold drinks bars. All children aged 16 and under must be with an adult. (Event Brentwood, Fireworks Night 2026)

Tickets are sold through TryBooking, which lists prices from £6 to £50 with no booking fee. The top price is the VIP ticket, which includes covered raised seating in the cricket pavilion, canapés and drinks. Sales close at 5pm on the day. (TryBooking, Fireworks Night)

There is no parking on site. Entry is on foot through the pedestrian gates on Ingrave Road and through Bayman Gate on Middleton Hall Lane, and the school points people to the town centre car parks, a short walk away. Our parking in Brentwood page has the car parks nearest the east end of the High Street.

Old Brentwoods Club, Friday 6 November

The date and the hours come from the club’s own events calendar, which lists “Fireworks Display” at Old Brentwoods Club, Ashwells Road, Brentwood CM15 9SE, from 5pm to 11.30pm, organised by the Old Brentwoods Clubhouse. The contact given is 01277 374070 and contact@oldbrentwoodsclub.org. (Old Brentwoods Club, Fireworks Display)

What the calendar does not yet give, as at 5 October, is the time the fireworks go up, ticket prices, or where to buy. Those have come later in previous years.

Here is what the club and the Brentwood School Association published for the last two displays, as a guide to the shape of the evening. None of it is confirmed for 2026.

  • 2025, Friday 7 November, 6pm to 11pm. Children’s disco from 6pm, fireworks display from 7.30pm, live singer and DJ afterwards, plus a bar, food, mulled wine and hot chocolate. Tickets were sold by QR code on the flyer, with queries to association@brentwood.essex.sch.uk or 01277 240451. (Brentwood School Association, Fireworks Night)
  • 2024, Friday 1 November, 6pm to 11.30pm. Children’s party, DJ and disco, food and drink. The listing said to “Book in advance to get cheaper tickets”. (Brentwood Chamber of Commerce)

Two things follow from that. Advance tickets have been cheaper than tickets on the night, and the display itself has started at about half past seven, well before the listed finish time. If you are taking small children, the useful hour is early evening, not the whole six and a half.

The club is out at Crow Green on the north side of the borough, not in the town centre, so plan the drive rather than the walk. Our parking in Brentwood page covers the town car parks if you are combining it with a trip in, and Brentwood roadworks and travel carries anything that might affect the route.

The Brentwood Centre is not running one

Search results still push people towards the Brentwood Centre, and for good reason: it used to run what local coverage called the biggest firework display in Brentwood, a Fireworks Festival with a funfair and free car parking. (Essex-TV, October 2017)

That is old. The Brentwood Centre’s own ticket portal, checked again on 5 October 2026, lists fourteen events on sale and not one of them is a fireworks night. The autumn programme is comedy, tribute acts, gymnastics and wrestling. (The Brentwood Centre ticket portal)

Aggregator sites that still describe a big Bonfire Night at the Brentwood Centre are recycling old copy. Treat them with caution.

No council or BID display

Brentwood Borough Council’s news feed carried no fireworks item when we checked on 5 October. Brentwood Connected, the town’s Business Improvement District, now lists the Brentwood School night in its events calendar, but it is not running a display of its own. The council and the BID do run free seasonal events together, but they are the Halloween days at the end of October and the Christmas lights days in November and December, not a bonfire night. (Brentwood Connected, events)

If you want something for the children in that week, the confirmed free events are the Trick or Treat Trail in Ingatestone on Thursday 29 October (10am to 4pm), the Festival of Frights on Brentwood High Street on Friday 30 October (2pm to 5pm) and the Shenfield Spooktacular on Hutton Road on Saturday 31 October (2pm to 5pm). (Brentwood Connected, Halloween)

Ingatestone’s free display is on New Year’s Eve, not Bonfire Night

Ingatestone does have a free community fireworks display, but it is a New Year’s Eve one. Ingatestone and Fryerning Parish Council’s page reads: “Free Firework Spectacular is back! New Year’s Eve, 7.15 - 7.30, Fairfield, Ingatestone”, and adds that “Although Free Display the team needs to raise the money and the cash bucket collection will be held on the night - please remember to bring change.” (Ingatestone & Fryerning Parish Council)

Be careful with that page. It carries no year, it signs off “Happy Christmas!”, and the parish council’s own events diary returns “No items found”. It has been sitting on the site in that form since at least early 2024. So the display is a genuine annual fixture, but nobody has confirmed 31 December 2026 in writing.

What we are watching for

  • Old Brentwoods Club ticket prices and the display time. Published in October in both of the last two years.
  • Road arrangements around Brentwood School on 7 November. Nothing published yet; Brentwood roadworks and travel will carry any notice.
  • Confirmation of the Ingatestone New Year’s Eve display. Expected in December, if the parish council follows its usual pattern of updating the same page.

This page was last checked on 5 October 2026 and will be updated when the details land.
