The club says it is the first time Brentwood Town have ever been shown live (Brentwood Town FC, 24 September). It is also keeping ticket prices at the normal level for the occasion.

How Brentwood got here
Brentwood Town play in the Isthmian League Premier Division. They entered this season’s FA Cup in the first qualifying round, according to the FA. They beat Concord Rangers after a replay, then knocked out Aveley in the second qualifying round.
The Aveley win came in a week of upheaval. The club parted company with manager Keith Rowland and his assistant after three seasons, the chairman announced on 16 September (club statement). Two days later it appointed Brett Munyard, who joined from Aveley itself (Brentwood Town FC, 18 September). The club’s own account says his previous side finished second in the Isthmian Premier last season.
Dagenham & Redbridge reached this round by beating Waltham Abbey after a replay, the FA says.
What it means for you
- If you want to be there, you need a ticket in advance. Watch the club’s website and social media for the third window and general sale.
- If you cannot get in, the whole game is free to watch live on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website.
- If you live near the Brentwood Centre on Doddinghurst Road, expect a bigger crowd than a normal Saturday, with a lunchtime kick-off.
The ground has been in the news for other reasons this month. Councillors were asked on 23 September to open talks on a 100-year lease for the club, and the council has permission for a £25m rebuild of the Brentwood Centre around it.
